A little history….
To think that this is my baby! I initiated the gathering of the committee that founded Eat Alberta as I had the desire and saw the need for so much more locally that was not here at the time. We were the very first to introduce this type of workshop style learning. The first 5 years were outrageously successful. We have so many stories to tell! Then it was time to let it go as the baby was clearly in need of a new team, new breath, new blood. Thus, it is growing and changing and still thriving at eatalberta.ca. It was unbelievably difficult to leave this part of me and my life, but it was time. The joy is that others are now rearing it and that it is still thriving!

Hi Valerie, Just spent a few moments looking at your site – great job extremely interesting! (Love the burger receipe)! I’m sure you are a very busy lady and getting many people pulling you in many directions. I am part of a New company from Black Diamond, Alberta and we produce a line of spices thru different methods of presentation – Grinders, Rubs, Traditional (pour) , Dips (salads, veggies, etc.) and just coming out with some Finishing Salts ! We would love to send some samples for you to consider and find out in fact if we have something that might compliment your style and Blog? I would make myself available to you anytime at your convenience of course. Hope to hear from you.
Kindest Regards, Mike McFarland cell# 403 990 3222

Sent you a message Mike, suggesting you connect with the folks at Eat Alberta, as I am no longer part of that organizational committee. Not even in a Grandma capacity. 🙂 But, left the information here for others to find who might be interested in your product and connect with you. If you would like me to remove it, I will do so. Please let me know.
🙂
