Evolv Health and Science: What is Acemannan?
In the fresh gel of the Aloe Vera Plant there is something that supports the body’s normal functions of defence and repair. In the 1950’s products were made with Aloe Vera gel extracts, but it was soon discovered that none of the miraculous properties known to exist within the plant gel remained in any of these products. The molecule from the plant that caused the support for our immune system disappeared in products within 24 to 48 hours. Research pharmacologists eventually identified, stabilized and extracted this molecule and discovered that it was a long chain polysaccharide and named it Acemannan. They then developed a process for stabilizing it for the first time in history. They then extracted it for commercial use.
Manapol was the first dietary supplement created with Acemannan in it and that first dietary supplement revolutionized a new movement in health care in the 1990’s called Integrative Health. Integrative Health combines the best of medicine with the best immune supporting technology to provide the best patient outcomes.
In the last 10 years, researches discovered that the polysaccharides that exist in Aloe Vera come in a great variety of molecular weights and only a small fraction of those activate the immune system. Therefore, a new process was developed to extract and process Aloe Vera that elevated the immune activating fractions 5x more effectively at half the cost. This “new technology” was called Immune and those that created it, dedicated it to the Hope Movement. Acemannan is one of the most revolutionary technologies recognized in the modern-day Integrative Health movement.
Evolv Health and Science: What is elevATP?
Nutra Ingredients USA awarded elevATP 2018 a Sports Nutrition Finalist. That’s powerful. This ingredient is in the product, Fix, essential to its proprietary formula.
Made out of a proprietary ancient peat (fossilized plan minerals) and apple extract, this ingredient has two clinical, peer-reviewed studies documenting increased mitochondrial ATP (adenosine triphosphate) post-ingestion, and two peer-reviewed functional studies documenting increased strength, power and performance in resistance trained athletes. Launched in 2015 with the first peer-reviewed study on its benefits published in 2016.
